Man Smart, Woman Smarter : ウィキペディア英語版
Man Smart (Woman Smarter)
"Man Smart (Woman Smarter)" is a calypso written by King Radio (Norman Span). Variations of it have been recorded by many artists including Harry Belafonte, The Carpenters, Rosanne Cash, Chubby Checker, Dr Victor, Robert Palmer, and Ratdog. It was a staple of the live repertoire of the Grateful Dead from 1981 to 1995.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.deaddisc.com/songs/Man_Smart.htm )
There is some uncertainty about the song's origins. Belafonte's 1956 recording credited the 1936 King Radio recording. Subsequently, some artists have credited it to D. Klieber, a pseudonym used by D. L. Miller. This would place the origins of the song after Miller entered the music industry in the late 1940s.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.spaceagepop.com/millerdl.htm )
The song is sometimes mislabeled "Women Are Smarter".
